Eyelid Movement

Several muscles with varied innervation contribute to eyelid movement and resting position. The resting position of the eye lids in normal patients is upper eyelid covering 1-1.5mm of the limbus and the lower eyelid lies at the inferior limbus. The limbus is the junction of the sclera with the cornea.
